On 30th of January all partners met at KETHI’s premises for the kick off meeting of the project. The agenda of the meeting was the following:

 

10:00  –11:45

 

OPENING SESSION

Welcome – brief presentation of working method – overall objectives of the project  – KETHI

Ws 0 : Monitoring methods and tools

–          Appointment of working groups per activity

–          Guidelines/indexes/indicators /templates of planned deliverables/milestones

–          Harmonisation of national / transnational reporting

–          Appointment of internal peer reviewers

–          risks and mitigations

–          Planning of second transnational meeting

–          Communication (skype conferences – mailing lists etc)

12:00 – 13:30 2nd SESSION

Context of knowledge: Gender based violence,, prevention and protection issues under current refugee crisis   

–          Opening presentation: Maria Liapi – project scientific responsible

–          National presentations: briefs on gender based violence policies and measures, new challenges in view of the current migration and refugee crisis by:

Work stream 1: Building capacity of specialized support service providers/staff to respond to the needs of migrant and refugee women  victims of GBV

Activity 1. Cross country situation and Capacity analysis in GBV

Activity 2. Multi-actor GBV Coordination mechanism

Activity 3. Design and implementation of capacity building for professionals working in specific GBV  services
